The Nestl fitted sheet is a stretchy, deep-pocket sheet designed for adjustable beds and thick mattresses. It suits sleepers who need a secure fit on moving foundations. Its standout trait is the high elastane content, which keeps the sheet taut without slipping.
Why Deep Pockets Matter
Deep pockets are essential for adjustable beds because the mattress bends and shifts. A standard sheet will pop off when the head or foot rises. The Nestl sheet's 18-inch pocket depth accommodates most mattresses, including pillow tops. This depth, combined with the stretchy fabric, keeps the sheet anchored. Owners report minimal re-tucking even after nightly adjustments.
Fabric and Stretch
The Nestl sheet uses a polyester-elastane blend, giving it a jersey-like feel. The high elastane content, around 15%, allows the sheet to stretch in all directions. This stretch is crucial for following the mattress contour during movement. It also helps the sheet fit snugly without wrinkles. However, the synthetic blend may not be as breathable as natural fibers. Some sleepers might find it slightly warm in summer.
Fit and Security
The elastic band runs around the entire perimeter, not just the corners. This design distributes tension evenly, preventing the sheet from pulling loose. Owners with adjustable beds report the sheet stays in place during full articulation. The deep pockets also fit over mattress toppers and pads. For best results, ensure your mattress depth is within the 18-inch limit. Exceeding this may cause the sheet to slip.
Care and Durability
The sheet is machine washable in cold water and can be tumble dried on low. Following care instructions helps maintain elasticity and color. Some owners note pilling after multiple washes, which is common with polyester blends. To extend lifespan, avoid high heat and harsh detergents. With proper care, the sheet should last several years. The limited warranty covers manufacturing defects for one year.
